Home Studio and Recording!

Again, not much of update going on here on the site. But we have been busy constructing our own home studio. Well, nothing fancy but it does the job, I guess. We are re-recording maya ho ki yo and expecting to finish it within this week. Then comes the surprise.. :) We cannot say more on that just yet.

Got the recording gears!

We received some recording gears from which we intend to record our songs. We did a quick install of the gears and recorded a sample.

Here's the acoustic sample. Still Need to learn Pro Tools and start recording.

Thanks specially to our friends Sourya Shrestha and Ajay Das Shrestha for helping us bring the gears.

Some practice shots

Forgive the sound capturing device. We got together and did a little recall of songs. We will be trying some professional recording soon. We can't wait to produce some new songs.

Update

Its been more than a month since we last posted. Well, nothing much has been involved lately. We have been busy on our own work.

We are thinking of recording the next couple of songs (or all the future songs) on our home studio and we are doing all the shopping for the instruments and recording stuff. They should be complete in next 2 months and we would begin the recording process.

We will keep you updated of any updates on our end.

Thanks for watching!

recording test

Oh... Just looking over different softwares and trying recording audio in each. Found one which is very simple and easy to record. Its a small program called REAPER but it does what we need to do - record live audio.

Heres a short sample of a probable new song. Found out that its time signature is 7/4. WOW! and hey it sounds really neat! :)
